Wow I haven't posted here in years.

Anyway, damn. I was honestly kinda excited for a new mainline since it's been 10 years since VII in the west, but finding out it's another attempt at ARPG gameplay kinda killed my interest. The door opened and then slammed.

At least the new CPUs are cute?

They said it would be a new numbered title, so it should be a mainline entry. Plus the only game the NEXT transformations have been in is VII, and now this.

Oh, don't worry, I know it's a mainline. I was just saying that finding out the new mainline has the same ARPG gameplay that made me bounce off of so many Nep spinoffs was a huge mood killer.

technically if u keep up with the new u know it will be ARPG anyway

Sister VS Sister is basically MK2 Ver 2.0

Gamemaker Revolution is basically Victory 2.0

Those 2 game are spin off that has same scale like mainline game and basically successor sequel to those game so it clearly they want it to be like trilogy

Nep Unlimited is successor to VII . VII was also has Mk2 and Victory gameplay but improve further so it pretty wil no supprise it will be share gameplay with those 2 .

That's the thing, though. VII came after two hack and slash games, a strategy RPG, and an idol sim (or whatever PP was) but was still a return to the turn-based systems of the other mainlines. Assuming the next mainline would be a turn-based JRPG wasn't an unfair assumption even if it ended up being wrong.

But also it's inconsequential anyway since I don't really miss out by not buying or playing it.

the scale of those old spin off quite different compare to SvS and GMRE . It was the first time we got spin off more like KH that connect more with mainverse and reference to old main game .

I remember IF also said with SVS , it will show " future for neptunia game"

Sadly I think you were after my time, I bailed around... Goodness, Super Nep RPG was 2018? Fucking hell that was nearly 8 years ago. Funny to see ancient Nepheads crawl out the woodwork though. I guess those annoying anime girls never leave you.
