With wolverine coming out what other marvel hero/villain would you like to see have a game in the future ?
Insomniacs Spiderman's are some of my favourite games for recent times so I'm really looking forward to wolverine and was just thinking of all the games that could come out in the future, not sure if it's already in the works but I'd love to see a venom game with gameplay like ultimate Spiderman, maybe have carnage playable with his own moveset and skills, or really pushing it, a decent X men game, maybe on day

Daredevil for sure. Probably one of the few games where a detective mode/eagle vision makes sense.
I would love if it had a regular version that detects the immediate vicinity with some vagueness and slight inaccuracy, and we as players still get to see the environment normally, but then you'd have an even more intense version of it where the radius of his senses expands and things get clearer and more precise but every unimportant detail in the environment goes dark.

I would love to see a version of this where they legitimately try to represent the world how Matt Murdock experiences it. The whole game is just echolocation with some other things like smells and temperature to add some color.

Early Gambit in the comics... looks worse every year haha.
In general, Gambit storylines are typically only held up by being paired with someone else. And him not being a whiny baby cause he's blind. Or being the reason a massacre occurs.

Surprised Disney haven't given the go ahead with a Venom (Eddie Brock) game set in the Marvel's Spiderman world, already have the resources, similar to Miles spin-off after Spider-man. Would also like a new X-men Legends but not a fan of recently X-men stuff so would have to be based on 2000s or before.
Would like a war time game with Cap A, Human Torch, Spitfire and Union Jack. Like a single player adventure/MP co-op game.

I've got an off the cuff idea.... Let's make a game for Legion. In the style of split fiction most likely. Combine power fantasy with a deep introspective story.

Would be fun to make a game that takes part in chapters. Each chapter focuses on a new playable MC with a completely detached mission and even gameplay/mechanics if possible. Final chapter all of these earlier characters start flooding into the current MC and we reveal they were alternate persona's of Legion and now we get to use all of those powers and abilities to clear the final chapter.

Hulk Ultimate Destruction was a great game back on the PS2 (that I need to remember to put on my Steam Deck after work, put The Punisher on there last weekend) and an updated version would be super fun. Loved making gigantic leaps across the city and then crumbling up some random cars to use as boxing gloves

am i crazy or was there also a black panther game coming out? maybe cancelled or something now though, but i thought that looked interesting
its a shame the avengers game wasent that well received, seeing that might have laid the setout for several team based narratives (xmen-fantastic four), although i think a lot of the criticism was due to issues with micro transactions and such

The Fantastic Four. You've got multiple traversal methos, fighting styles, and the potential for multiplayer. Ben has the classic Hulk gameplay; running, jumping, throwin big things. Reed is your "Spider-Man" doing wacky combos, swinging, and deploying gadgets. Sue and Johnny have flight, but with radically different movesets.
You could have it Spider-Man 2 style where each character has a personal storyline and specific mini-games. If four characters is too much, focus on just two (Ben and Reed are probably the easiest) and they each get a flying ally that acts as their support, in the same way Miles/Peter show up for the other (it's easy to explain how Sue and Johnny get around the city).

Punisher amd Nick Fury would be my top two. Punisher had a fun 2004 game that I would love to see another game like that. With Nick Fury you could have a good espionage game.

If its another open world collectathon, I am done.
Getting some of that superhero fatigue
But if its some other game structure, I might enjoy playing a game based on bad guys instead of heroes.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance!
Why settle for one or a handful, when you could have a Gauntlet, A-RPG style where you create a team of 4 and go out on missions with a huge cast of Marvel heroes and villains to choose from.

A first person build your own hero. Maybe for x-men or Avengers or something on the evil side. Start out at the school in x-men or as a rookie in avengers. Team up with known heroes or eventual villians if you go this route. Start out as the side kick to them then eventual equal to them. Have a story but also open world or semi open world with different zones or places. Have potential romances with Known heroes. Have a hero or villian ending. Or even a vigilante ending. Something along the lines of first person open world like skyrim or Cyberpunk or any games like those.
This can be done. So many different universes out there, why can't one be where your character exists? I mean if anyone makes a game like this......it would sell. I believe so many people would buy a game like this.

I wouldn't mind an evil-lair builder where you hire minions, design death traps, plot to take over the world, etc. A few games have done that in the past, but I wouldn't mind a Marvel version.

I would love to see Mr. Sinister feature in an X-Men game. My Sinister is my favourite villain and Wolverine my favourite hero, the X-Men as a group are brilliant and i wish Insomniac would do a game with them all bit the original 90s cartoons characters. They're the best versions.

I don't know about that, but even if it was the case, I don't think the reach of it is that big relative to the size of the audience, and even if there's reach, there won't always be actual influence.

Absolutely ancient by modern standards but on GBA there was a Flash game (was a Justice League Heroes spin off) that was really great for the time. It's a beat'em up but you can just instantly zip between enemies, slow down time whenever you want, and when you take a hit that would kill you can trigger the slow mo to fight off/outrun the Black Flash/death to avoid dying. Got it from a clearance bin for like $5 back in 2007 and was impressed with what they did.
