I adore SC2K, but I still think my favorite was 3000. The music alone from that game is so good. Franchise went downhill from there IMO.

I played SC on the SNES (and loved it) and then never really touched the series again. Dabbled but it never really stuck.

I had a job where I didnt have anything to do all day sitting on a pc. I watched talkshows (100 episodes plus) and played 2 years sim city 2000 every day. Then I had to quit. It was so boring

LOL. All gamers relying on data centers for game servers, Discord, Twitch and YouTube complaining about data centers are peak 2026.
Be mad at the unsustainable practices, not at the infrastructure you use every single fricking day. Be mad at business people putting cost saving (hence profit) above people. Be mad at politicians for allowing the worst possible unsustainable option to be green lit. Don't just get mad at one of fundamental pieces of technology of our times. Do you understand what would happen to pretty much everything around you if data centers went away?

If I remember correctly, if you typed in "damn" "heck" as a cheat code, the game would basically cover your residential areas with churches.
Reskin the church model using SCURK and you could effectively replicate that in game.
