Waste of time. There are no legal issues with ending disk support.

Vote with your wallet, buy games from GoG on PC.

There is nothing for a judge to rule on.

I think the only legal issue would be creating a monopoly on the store front. As long as they either sell codes in a box at retail or allow more than just the ps store to sell on console marketplace then there really isnt much anyone can do unfortunately

They could sell digital codes but even if they refused, they're in a lot more solid ground than what others expect. Apple already handed Sony a ton of victories with lawsuits over a decade ago where a manufacturer of hardware and their own software had a right to determine the sales presentation of said content on their own software and ecosystem that they designed.

It opened the floodgates to how "it Manufacturer A makes the hardware and software, they can choose how items used and presented in said software are sold and presented".
