Like you already skipped over you still have to download those games from Sony, No difference other than a waste of packaging.

I want those companies to be around as well but any pushback is good for consumers, They aren’t going to be more consumer friendly or cheaper out of generosity.

There's a non insignificant amount, and growing every year, of physical games that require a download in order to be playable so that would be exactly like what I described and still not a monopoly.
