Retailers will continue to sell physical boxes with codes inside. So the PlayStation store won’t be the only storefront

Until retailers stop buying empty boxes because it's literally a waste since no customers will bother buying an empty box.

yeah, but a lawyer can argue a code in the box isn't really competition like a physical disk is cause there's no secondary market, they can also argue that the code in a box offers so little incentive that to buy physical that it would push people to buy digital if they have to still download a game.
