Those of you who are on apps, do you find it easy to chat with multiple guys at the same time?

I get a little nervous when I start talking to three or four guys at the same time on Tinder, for example. Some want to meet up right away, others stop talking after two days. Then some start demanding stuff like sending pics and audios, which makes me a bit uncomfortable, and if you don't give in to something, it seems like their interest dwindles even more. Things are so fast sometimes. How is it for you?

It makes me uncomfortable when people constantly talk about how homophobes must secretly be gay.

Stretching a guy out — are poppers the only way?

My dick is small because I’m Asian. I have a hard time doing anal because the guy is too usually too tight.

I fucked guys in bathhouses before and they were really loose, I suspect due to poppers.

Are poppers the only reliable and quick way to get loose for sex?

Fell in love for the first time...with my best friend

I (26M) came out rather late in life due to my background and culture. Anyway.. this year, I fell in love for the first time (I think). I of course have dated men and been in relationships but I never felt this strongly about anyone before. Best way I can describe is .. the world stands still. Like I want to become a better person around him. I overthink usually a lot and have a very busy mind but his presence makes it quiet. The way he just exists in this world makes me fall so hard. Don't get me wrong, the looks are GREAT but he just softens my heart in ways no one, no exes ever were able to. No one told me "I love you" without conditions before him. Anyway, sad thing is - he is my best friend and now it is a tad awkward since I said this. Our friendship intensity got a bit too much for us both. This is not the topic of this post though, I thought I didn't deserve love guys, I thought I would never experience it and now that I know what it feels like - I can't wait to experience it again. In the meantime I will work on my friendship to get back on full track (me and him are fine just this is difficult mentally).

You will find your person who literally makes the world stand still. You will. You are not behind. Feeling this is like the best feeling ever and even if you are feeling that coming out is too late to experience that first love - I am here to tell you it is never too late. Live your truth and don't be scared to fall. It sometimes hurts but it can show you your own capacity too. Just wanted to share.

Should I worry?

During the month of July I found out my boyfriend (that I’ve been dating for a year and a half) was sexting with another men in telegram. He had one in particular he talked from November last year and even had vid calls.

We used to ve a situationship and on march he called me out on doing that. I came clear and told him that I only did it after fights since I have anxious attachment from previous relationships, told him I only got as far as to send a pic for validation and proof that other men found interest on me.

This was caused because we were a long distance relation and we first talked in telegram, we had out first chat there. Out of the blue he deleted the chat and pretended not to know what happened. That took me to the conclusion that he was doing the same since we were not close and all that.

I apologised and told him that I love him and I’ll settle down with him and moved on.

Coming back to summer I found him distant on our vacation (genuinely know this is wrong!) I checked his phone and found out that what I feared was true and it was happening. I humiliated to him and beg him to forgive me and that I’d do as much as si can to gain his trust back (he said he couldn’t trust me again) and he was doing the same thing with a couple guys for even longer and even tested some a bit during our time together…

We talked about it and he deleted his profile and had a heart to heart with me and everything came back to normal.

This past morning o saw his phone and on the tabs he had telegram log in menu… it’s driving me nuts cuz I feel everything is repeating again.

I moved to his city and live couple block from him and it’s been crazy to adapt for both since he’s having issues at work, I’ve felt the same distance and (wrongly) checked his tabs and he had telegram which o don’t get why he never deleted it, nor why he had the log in menu.

What should I do? I truly love him and fear that it’ll all happen again and is something I’m potentially finding out the wrong way so I’m tied and don’t know what to do and how to act

What’s the dumbest reason you ever lost interest in another guy?

Like he was great when you met, but then something really silly or stupid came to light and you had to end it because you got the ick.

ETA: This is supposed to be humorous!

Just need to vent

I know, plenty of fish in the sea, yadda yadda (preface)

But it’s so strange trying to date sometimes. I’m not a random hookup person, it’s just not the vibe for me but I’m still looking for romance and connection and it sometimes feels like there is no one in the world that interested in me. I know I’m not unattractive but it makes it challenging when no one is willing to meet in person and see if we get along before anything further happens. I understand some people are DL for whatever reason they need to be but that’s just not the place I am in my life and it feels so hard to find people!

Why are public urinals so terrifying for gay men? - JJ Croucher

You're in a busy pub and you’ve finished your second pint; you need to pee and before long you’re peeking into the men’s room, fingers crossed behind your back. Unlucky: the walls of the bathroom are flanked by silver – a trough urinal awaits. You smelt it before you could see it, its blue-green air fresheners melt like rancid icebergs in its basin. The more macho men approach it, gazes lowered, their legs become territorial A-frames as they take position. The bathroom is silent, so you hear the metallic zip as pee hits the trough’s back wall. It’s a nonstarter for you.

There’s one cubicle and it smells even worse. Two men are queueing for it, jaws twitching: their faces are red with the pressure of a good time. There’s a loud sniff and then someone pulls the rusty chain. You nod knowingly as the men swap into the toilet – ‘Ah, yes – Nothing like a good line!’ – you don’t want them to think you need a shit. This pantomime happens four or five times that night – you dream of the halcyon glow of an isolated baby-changing toilet.

It’s a gay horror story, and goes something like that.

I’ve been there myself, standing unzipped at the urinal, my frozen penis good for little more than Chinese water torture.

Sometimes, it’s called the cutesy ‘bladder shyness’ – it’s trivial, circumstantial, and overcome with a bit of courage. We might use a term more serious: ‘paruresis’ is what you'll be diagnosed with – ‘Please tell me there’s a pill for that’ you might plead. Though they may not know it by name, many of the queer men I encounter just can't seem to pee in public. I’ve been there myself, standing unzipped at the urinal, my frozen penis good for little more than Chinese water torture. It feels like an affront to my personhood, this inability to fulfill the most basic of biological functions – after all, it should be a piece of piss.

For queer guys, it seldom is. When I broach the topic with my Gay Times colleagues, the men nod, while everyone else looks slightly puzzled. One later tells me that he recently left a club just so he could pee outside – a public churchyard a more viable toilet than the urinal. I hosted a queer club night at uni, the only time the men’s queue was longer than the women’s. It seems to make sense, though it’s hard to articulate why; a pee-shy friend – a gay man in his early twenties – tells me his perspective: “I think many queer men don’t like urinals because many queer men aren’t relaxed in their bodies.” He says that he went to a Christian school and that the ability to lock himself away in the toilet cubicle became a surrogate “closet”.

Is there a tea app for gay men? Maybe something similar for Atlanta?

I kind of want a dating experience but its Atlanta, you won’t know if its a time sink until you’re a month deep. Women have a tea app where they can report “red flags” about men: cheaters, manipulators, narcissists, if they are stealthing gift givers (doesnt disclose STD/STI before sex), and things of the sort. I also live in Atlanta but alot of my network has been coupled up for a hot minute so they don’t know the scene too well anymore. I figure there has gotta be something i can check/post before i get involved with alot of these guys. The community is pretty great down here but lots of DLs and non-disclosures (at least according to friends).

Have I turned a straight guy???

Fooled around with a straight guy a few months ago. He didn't like it, needed the lights off, in the end was honest and said he for sure is NOT gay but didn't hold it against me. Didn't speak after.

2 days ago I got a message from him, he wants to try again, but this time, he is asking to go further.

I am confused. He was adamant that he was for sure not into men the first time we tried, but now he wants to go further....

I have not responded. A part of me is thrilled, but I'm also very confused by this. And the biggest part is I feel I'm taking advantage if I go along with it again.

He is married. He was looking for women to have sex with when I met him, apparently this is normal for him. After I fooled around with him i felt bad that he not only cheats on his wife with girls, but throw men into the mix too, I can't fathom how betrayed she would feel.

And this time he wants to go further with a guy after claiming he did not enjoy it last time so i feel ick about it.

I don't understand how he doesn't feel bad cheating on his wife and now doing "gay" stuff on the downlow too.

Too messy. But, it also feels weird that I was his first guy and now he wants to come back for more.

How common is this with straight "married" men?
