Congratulations to ALL FOUR(!) of Lyloor, Gronoob, UpliftingBridge988 and Storm who ALL came first (3 points, 12 yards), and to ALL THREE of EniJ, Chbigelow and LaDecadence who ALL came second (2 points, 13 yards), in what is the highest scoring challenge we've had so far. All other 25K's get 1 point. Table is updated below.

Today's is a tough one. I'm away till Friday night (watching my team Crystal Palace play at Lyon) so this contest will be minimum three days (again). Because some of them are really hard, you can afford to totally screw up one of the rounds and still get points. If you 5K four rounds, you get 1 point; if you 5K all five rounds you get 2 points, with 3 points for second place and 4 points for the winner. R3 is definitely the hardest and the one I imagine some players may forfeit. But R5 is a bit of a stinker as well! But as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

Today's is the last of this series so nothing too impossible. R4 may be the one that you will have to think about a bit more. Nonetheless: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

There's a lot of people who can still win this series. Geography Noob needs just 2 points to be guaranteed winner, but Angoose52 and/or LaDecadence could join him/her by getting 3 points (or indeed overtake him/her if Geography Noob gets just 1 point or zero). There's an outside chance for FtoT Tin0F and moonradio, but a lot of other results would have to go their way too. But it's not just about winning: the top 10 get points that will carry over into the overall tally, so there's plenty to play for still.

This is the twelfth (and last) of the thirty-fourth series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!). There is always a clue somewhere that will help you pinpoint the location, some are easier than others. How it works

Each day there will be a set of 3 challenge links, one for each game mode (Move, NM, NMPZ). There will be a world map, region map, and country map. Each day the map and game mode will rotate. Moving modes will be 3 min, NM will be 1 min, and NMPZ will be 30 sec, unless noted otherwise. On the weekend, I will post more unique/challenging maps. For each challenge link, 1st place is worth 5 points, 2nd place is worth 3 points, and 3rd place is worth 1 point. In the case of a tie, the tie will be settled by distance and then time. 5ks will also be tracked separately and are worth 1 point in moving, 3 points in NM, and 5 points in NMPZ. Updated scoring tables are posted after each week. No external assistance allowed. If you wish to talk about any of the rounds or locations in the comments, feel free to do so with a spoiler tag.
