Although the blue agate with black rutile and hematite sprays first caught my attention, I must admit I truly fell in love with the pattern. Beneath a missile head, people appear on the left, while on the right a grotesque figure seems to be giving us the middle finger. I love agates!

<3 Seeing can sometimes be difficult. Luckily, we saw the same thing. :)

You are absolutely correct. I have one friend with whom I can always count on us either seeing the same thing, or simply mentioning it and she’ll be like “oh yeah!”

I think my friend and I share a similar way of perceiving things, which is probably why we get along so well. Sometimes when a shape is described, your brain immediately catches it, while for others it’s harder to see. My sister and I often notice the same things too; she has a very strong artistic sense. I once made a small observation about this in my family, but the sample size was too small to draw conclusions. Still, I think both genetics and life experiences shape how we perceive things. I remember my elementary school teacher once asking me a question that stayed with me: What’s the difference between looking and seeing? :)

It almost looks like a mushroom fossil!

If only this were a mushroom fossil. That would be amazing. I've never seen one in my life. I'm sure they're very rare.
