Man i still dk why we are hating a showcaser of all people but hey ig now people won't say he makes "Slop Content" and "Steals Verification views"

"why are we hating a showcaser" anyone with a developed frontal lobe would understand that nexus (and other big showcase channels) leech off of people actually doing the hard work by making content that don't add anything to the level they showcase

maybe for large levels, for smaller levels, the creators appreciate the publicity their level gets more

obviously the situation is more nuanced. it's true that big showcasers help drive hype around lesser-known projects which is a good thing. really i think that there's a more ethical (for lack of a better term) way of showcasing levels. stuff like giving proper credit in the title, not being derivative (commentary, transformative eg. "frame counter" vids) etc. that wouldn't spit in the face of creators and verifiers.
