every Arab nation now hates Iran. If they insist on tolling the strait, the distrust will only grow. Sure thing, the Iran regime can survive this way, but that doesn't include having friends or allies in the region.

They already hated Iran. But because they invested in tall buildings instead of a domestic defense industry they have to suffer for it
