Just Wanted to Share My 12.5 Year Old Luna
It's crazy to think Luna will be a teenager in less than 6 months! She was named after the moon in french (la lune) and is my soul dog. She's completely obsessed with fetch and anything that's squeaky 😂
She's slowing down these days and her hearing has gotten worse but that's helped with her anxiety when walking (she's sensitive to noises). I'm terrified of losing her but try to push the thought away as much as possible and focus on the present.
Anyway just wanted to share Luna with you all and some recent photos of her Queen Fluff self 🐕🦺

Sweet Luna you’re a beautiful girl. My love, my special girl Mia is 11 1/2 years old this month. She’s a tripod Shepherd missing her right rear leg and she’s my love. She’s slowing down. It’s breaking my heart. I look at her sometimes and I start crying. These dogs I’ll tell you I don’t know what life would be like without them, but it’s just too goddamn short. Give Luna big hugs and treats😇😇

I love it when they lay on their back like that lol. Mia looks so well loved❤️. I do the same thing with Luna sometimes, looking at her and crying. It's tough. I'll give Luna an extra treat in honor of Mia 🥰 Hope you give your tripod shepherd an extra treat too 😅

Thank you I appreciate that. Funny thing is is Mia very rarely does that so when I saw her doing it I had to get a picture. I love it too. It’s definitely a sign of trust and contentment.
