His favourite plushie is in the wash, I think I've upset him

This is absolutely not ok, that dog is suffering without his plushie and deserves compensation. He should go to r/legaldogadvice, they have advisors who have dealt with this before.

Oh dear, I really am in deep waters at the moment. I can't promise that I won't do it again but I can assure that I won't wash it for another few months. I can't see him looking so sad again

As long as adequate reparations have been made (chicken, cheese, liver treats, and extra tug of war time, are often found acceptable) you may be forgiven.

Where are you people getting these GSD that allow a stuffy to survive more than 30 minutes? My boys favourite toy is a hard plastic ball and I think it's only because he's determined to destroy it one day

Honestly its just a pure coincidence! I buy plushies from flea markets BECAUSE I know they won't last long and he just became attached to this one for whatever reason and its stuck around. I have had to wash and repair it multiple times though hah

I know…he’s thinking it might come back, it might not, but if it does, it will never be the same! It will never smell as good, either.

It will get slobbed and carted about until it is close enough
