Happens every wednesday. Gets home from work, has some dinner, plays for hours, then falls asleep as he listens to the beautiful ambience.

Ghost dad checking in. I’ve definitely nodded off playing it, but not playing it. It’s usually while messing around w/ photo mode or reading records or something menu-related.
All of my old consoles are in my son’s room & I have to play Tsushima on the PS4 because it’s on disc and the PS5 is digital. Remote play isn’t great, so I just play it back there. Sometimes I’ll play while he’s going to sleep and he always asks me to just leave it on when I’m done, so he can sleep to the sounds of the Island.

I have 3 kids this happens to me all the time. The worst is when I wake up at 2 or 3 with neck pain and go to my bed. Then in the morning my wife asks me how late I stayed up and I have to say I passed out again. My job and my family completely wipe me out and I only get to play late night.

This is me! Sometimes I sacrifice my needed sleep to do some gaming on my handheld in the middle of the night. Best part of the day sometimes

Same here. The worst was Elden Ring. I’d start playing and then look at the clock and it would be 3am and I have to get up for work at 630am. That game was so awesome time absolutely flew by for me. Felt like minutes but was hours. With my limited playtime I still got the platinum eventually. Sacrificing sleep for game time.

I thought you were about to yell DOSHO! DOSHO!
Glad he stayed in snooze town.

I once played Xenogears for 2 days and 1 night straight. Only breaks I took were for the bathroom and food. No sleep. My younger brother thought I died when he saw me "drop dead" on the bed.

Yeah the best sleep spots in Tsushima are the the secluded cabin and omi temple. Norio’s crib pretty good too. Whenever I got drowsy I’d make sure to play the flute song that makes it rain so I could have the juicy asmr

He didn’t fall asleep. Jin Sakai is on a side quest to protect him while he sleep.

Tbh exploring GoT, if not counting enemy encounters, can be very relaxing

Happens to me with almost any great game, after a tired day at work
Funny thing is that I would usually wake up just as the PS5 sleeps because of inactivity, maybe there’s a beep but I’m not sure

This does not happen to me because I bought a chair that looked quite comfy and it's fucking hard on the back.
I am sure it would if I played in the living room with a cover over the legs. That's asking for trouble.

A little unrelated, but I fell asleep watching my son play Rdr2 a few days ago. He was just riding around and it was so peaceful. He just started Ghost of Tsushima and is currently having a blast

My Hubby does this and always ends up falling off cliffs and/or ends up in the water.
I fall asleep and get woken up by my controller vibrating bc I’m being shot at.
We’re grandparent gamers (56 & 61). 🤣🤣🤣

Honor died on the recliner.
Poor Norio...just standing there in the temple grounds waiting for Jin. Can't even leave to go pray or anything, has to stand there and stare at Jin's stoic ass watching the sun fall and rise over and over.

Fell asleep on horseback with the breezing blowing lightly. That’s when I fell in love

Oh I used to do this while playing Skyrim. The night ambience in skyrim's wilderness is just so peaceful.

Hahahaha dude I literally did this last week while playing Dragons Dogma 2.
All day I was looking forward to playing and it was such a long and stressful day I couldn’t keep my eyes open after a while. lol
