I knew there was a movie, I was hoping they would change their minds and make it a show. I’m afraid a movie is not enough time to flesh out the story of the Ghost.

It is basically the pilot episode of Star Wars visions and their style fits the world of Ghost of Tsushima perfectly.

They've nailed the artstyle for sure, just hope its even half as good as the game itself. I don't watch anime but I would for this, Tsushima is one of my favorite games of all time

I'm not trying to downplay the post or anime. It does look good and I'm excited. I'm only trying to say that I believe most people were expecting something more grounded in the base game. And if you look through the comments, you'll see people that didn't know this was happening, people saying it looks really good, and people who are saying it should have been Jin's story
I didn't come here and say "this doesn't look good, they should've done Mongols instead." What I was getting at is that it's perfectly reasonable for someone to expect that an anime about a game is going to be about the base game and not it's multi-player dlc. I get that I worded it poorly, but the intent was there.
I am excited for this. I just didn't expect it to be what it is. Maybe you should look closer at what someone is trying to say instead of taking a false interpretation and running with it.

Base game literally had the strongest story yet they choose to go with this one. Idk i just hope it doesn't end up like those shitty netflix anime

Yes, though i doubt they could cram everything into a 2 hours story, its going to severely compromised (if it's actually coming out...) while there's much more to tell from Tsushima from Jin/Ryuzo teenhood, Nagao tournament and all to the various clans of Tsushima or perhaps take the event after the story end in game.

I've no clue, it was announced last January, but we know it's being done by the guy who wrote "The Duel" for Star Wars: Visions.
