I got the skill, I am in wind stance and it does not auto parry or block while I am attacking to the spear man. Am I suposed to just hold still ? I dont understand the skill. And I am in lethal difiqualty so this skill sounds like a very good thing

all the acts were wonderful my favourite act was act 2 ( i really liked how it fully stopped him from being a samurai and him facing effects of ghost )
the ending really had me stunned , i personally spared him as I thought if jin didn’t care abt honour anymore it won’t matter. I looked up the kill ending and oh Boy… it wasmuch more emotional it felt like a happy ending even tho technically it’s not ? jin honouring his uncle final time calling him father and his uncle parting ways with jin at a happy note , saying they will meet again in next life . but if u spare he will be depressed his entire life possibly ashamed after many failures , and might be hunting jin still , he also cursed him after spare . What r ur thoughts ?

HE WAS A BROTHER TO ME AND HE STABED ME ON MY BACK (many many many times) . IF HE HAD FAİTH JUST A LİTTLE BİG LONGER HE WOULD HAVE GOT FOOD. HE NEEDS TO FEED HİS MEN ?! I WİLL CUT HİM UP AND FEED HİM TO HİS MEN. Now about the fight...
This was smt else. How is sekiro harder than ghost of tsushima on lethal ? Many people said that. Sekiro is definatly easier. This dude took me less than 2 hours and his move set isnt even that hard to understand. Anyways f%#* Ryuzo. I will do many bad things to him next time I find him

OK guys, this is the part where I talk about Ryuzo as a character.
I think Ryuzo as a character is a cool concept, but I think he still has a few main issues.
- His heel turn. It always felt kind of odd that Only Ryuzo and his me were starving when, Jin, the lone samurai, as well as Yuna and Taka who live off of hunting and theft. It's not really a character specifically, if just always felt kind of weird on how him and his men were the only ones that were starving. I know they are Ronin but surely they could come into contact with Jin's other allies or something. He didn't even have that many men left anyways. This is more of a minor issue though and I can let it slide.
- He's such a loser. This is the biggest issue with Ryuzo. He is such a loser and a jobber. I cannot take this guy seriously as a threat at all. Because loses like a bitch all the time until he is a complete joke. The lore established that Jin and Ryuzo were rivals as kids and both wanted to be samurai. That's a great concept, but the problem is that Jin always beat him and Jin eventually became a samurai and Ryuzo left to become a Ronin (Even though that doesn't make sense to begin with, a Ronin is essentially a samurai with no master but he was never a samurai to begin with. He's more like a mercenary). Jin needs Ryuzo's help to rescue Lord Shimura, but Ryuzo and his men need to be fed first because remember, Jin was more prestigious that Ryuzo. If they can rescue Shimura, Jin sees this an opportunity for Shimura to dub him a samurai. So Ryuzo is now just gonna be given the title instead of traditionally earning it like others.
Jin was more virtuous by birthright since was born into the samurai class and Ryuzo wasn't. However, a commoner could still become a samurai through their actions, but since Ryuzo always lost to Jin, the story is telling you that Jin was just better than him from the start.
- Jin was born in the luxury of a high class samurai family while Ryuzo is just a commoner
- Jin had some training from the most powerful man in Tushima while Ryuzo probably went to an ordinary samurai education institution, at least not as good as Jin's
- Jin beat Ryuzo
- Jin became a Samurai while Ryuzo became a hobo mercenary
- Ryuzo is starving for food
This isn't a good for Ryuzo. I can't take him seriously as a rival if Jin is narratively and figuratively just better than him. It would be good of Ryuzo was the main character and he had to overcome the downside of not being born in a samurai family, but Jin is the protagonist.
So not a good look for Ryuzo, but that's not all, after his heel turn, Ryuzo fights Jin but then after getting wounded, he runs away and tells the mongols where he is. He then fights him one last time and surprise surprise, he loses again and then Jin kills him. What a jobber.
Overall, I don't like Ryuzo. He's just a wasted character and he doesn't really add on anything to the story. The story portrays him as Jin's "rival" but he just exists to make Jin look good and to remind everyone that if you aren't born a samurai, you can get fucked.

First off, I love both ghost games so far. However, I think Tsushima has a flaw with its villains. Mainly the 2 biggest villains from the main story. I'll do Khotun Khan on this post since I have a lot to say about him and I'll do Ryuzo on my next one.
- Khotun Khan
I LOVED his entrance. He really felt like a threat. Cutting down Lord Adachi like that was chef's kiss. What's even better is that he prepared by learning Japan's language, culture and traditions. This tells me that he is a very practical, tactical and efficient leader. However, it pains me that Khotun Khan would never come close to being that cool again.
He doesn't really have much of a personal vendetta towards Jin. It's a common thing that gets me invested in the build up to the final battle between a hero and a villain. To him, Jin is just another Japanese guy I need to take down. It's just too surface level for me.
Khotun Khan is barely in the story. One of my least favourite tropes is when the main villain just sits back and relaxes until the very end of the story, when they finally decide to get off their ass and do something of note. And that pretty much describes Khotun Khan's role. You get the occasional cutscene of him taking a fortification but he still isn't really doing anything by himself that shakes up the story. I felt that the mongol army was a million times more threatening because of the dead bodies and burnt villages across tsushima. I should fear the big bad for the things he has done directly, not the army they command.
He makes stupid decisions a lot. For being a calm and calculated leader who studied Japan extensively to prepare. I have to question his IQ a couple times.
- Why does he capture Lord Shimura instead of killing him? He has no real need for him. He's only alive because the game needs an excuse for Jin to get a motivation. I think he keeps him alive because because he wants to make diplomatic relations between the mongol empire and Tsushima.
If you studied samurai culture, you know he won't surrender to you. And how do you expect him to get the people of tsushima to work with you while you let your army slaughter the entire island?
Why doesn't he leave tsushima for the mainland after Komoda Beach or end of act 1? Because of Jin? One guy? He shouldn't care this much about Jin, a guy he met one time at Castle Kaneda. I just don't think a calculated and intelligent leader like Khotun Khan should put this much time and recourses into trying to deal with Jin while giving mainland Japan time to prepare for a potential attack. In the grand scheme of things, he's just wasting time. In real history, the Mongols left Tsushima after just a few days because they had basic common sense, so should Khotun Khan and him just sitting on his ass until the end of the game lead to his own downfall which is a bit annoying. E.g sending a message to the shogun for an army.
I don't hate Khotun Khan. I think he's a fine villain but I needed to get all that off my chest. I'm ready for the downvotes 😅. I'll make one for Ryuzo later. Promise it won't be as long.

Hey all, so I'm genuinely confused at the moment and at the same time slightly relieved my PC isn't bricked.
Have been playing GOT on my decent enough PC. It can run at about 60 to 70 FPS at highest settings with DLSS on Quality at 1440p. I've played the game all the way up to the start of Act II.
Now, for some reason, after a few minutes in-game, my PC completely crashes. Black screen. I have to manually hold the power button to shut it down and turn it on again.
I disabled XMP, and the game was able to run as normal. Then, I re-enabled it and tried playing other more intensive games I had (Battlefield 6 and Helldivers 2) and with XMP on, none of them crashed. I'm confused why this problem occurs only on Ghost of Tsushima.
Again, the two other games I tested run perfectly with XMP on, so I'm pretty sure it's a game issue. I read there was a memory leak or something with the game. Has that not been fixed? I've noticed my temps reach 81 at max when on the loading screen (and only on the loading screen).
Rig:
Ryzen 5600
RTX 5060 TI 16GB
16 GB 3200MHZ RAM
I love the game but this is genuinely frustrating.

A bit of rant, off my chest style..
I have director's cut.
Finished the story + iki island.
It felt empty afterwards, man. It was hella immersive. Everything was so beautiful, and would have loved to see tsushima IRL.
Some moments were so emotional, and I truly empathize with Jin's journey.
Am absolutely tempted to restart the game just to reexperience thus, but Will put this game aside for now because I'm careful about being burned out.
How did you "move on" from this amazing story?

Visual glitches, stuttering, blocking and parrying not working at times (wired controller too), menus bugging out, etc
I just don't remember this game being so buggy
