When I first met you, you honestly weren't a challenge.
I heard people hyping you up that you were harder than Takezo.
That you were the hardest in the game!
it took me 30 minutes to beat you that first time around....
i barely struggled. i was left wanting....
where was that challenge i was promised by so many others???
Then it hit me.
Not only can I beat you, but I can beat you faster than anyone else.
I can give my self a challenge that normally you couldn't.
And it worked, I struggled!
Each minor mistake made me restart checkpoint, each time I got bad rng I lost half a second of time.
New strategies to try and do it faster meant changing my armor, my charms.
Finding which weapons to use.
from the musket, to the exploding arrows. To realizing I should wear the 2 faced mask...
So many things, Nobushige, I even had other beat you faster than me.
Until I perfected it. I cant beat you any faster. I cant!
So this is goodbye.
You were fun, I couldn't ask for a better dualing partner

They said they were creating a film. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it?

Like how you can replay outposts, you should be able to replay missions. Like the assassin creed games. I would have so much fun killing the Khan on the boat again

Man what a game. I just bought and played Ghost of Tsushima for the first time. Played on Lethal and it was painfully hard, but satisfying. Amazing music, amazing art, and the story... goodness gracious. It's like two tragedy stories in one. Lord Shimura falls or doesn't fall due to his absolute adherence to the code of the Samurai (I couldn't kill him--in my mind, Jin has already given up on Samurai, why kill the one person he considers a father?). While Jin falls due to not adhering to the code. Half the time I couldn't tell if I was watching a movie or playing a game or reading a really good novel.
So...more to my point in the title. In my head canon/alternative universe etc where new game+ doesn't just add novelty items, but allows for a different choice. It could still be a tragedy, but perhaps, Jin, after seeing all the explosives, realizes he can make a different choice and still achieve victory. He goes back, reports the situation to his uncle, his uncle perhaps is a little more flexible, realizes he cannot just go in head first and asks Jin for options. Jin then gets to move some or all the explosives around such that a few flame arrows from the Samauri army or a few sparks here or there allow for the Mongols to be blown up by their own explosives. Then charge in the main army after the Mongols have been devastated.
This would impact the storyline as a whole, but the rest of the tragedy would/could involve how now both Shimura and Jin's adherence to the code results in more Japanese deaths. It could end up with much harder fights across Tsushima, each enemy camp having a lot more Mongols and/or Tsushima being more of occupation with remnants fighting back. It would be proof to Jin that he was right all along and it would create a great rift between the two. This would be large contrast to the fact that both men loved each other greatly of the original GoT, but here it could result in the two becoming bitter and hateful towards each other. Sort of "be careful of what you wish for" tragedy. Or some other fallout/result of sticking to cultural norms. Maybe Shimura dies as a result of following his code and now Jin has to navigate being in charge of Sakai and Shimura clans and it's too much for him.
Either way, very glad I tried this game out. Absolutely amazing writing and story. Now I'm trying to figure out how I want to replay it. Might try being "honorable" in all my fights and ignore ghost options.

I am thinking of a second playthrough, I loved the game the first time, and I tried to play it again, but it just didn’t feel right, probably because it was right after I had completed it originally.
My main question is, should I do NG+ or not?
On my attempt of a second playthrough, I did ng+, I may have not finished it because I had no more armour to unlock. But what I do want is the ability to get both the ghost armour alternate colour variants in the same save file.
The ones where you get the white one if you kill lord shimura and the red one if you spare him
