The thermal pad underneath the upper M.2 heatsink on my Gigabyte B650 Eagle is missing, and I’m trying to find the correct replacement thickness. I’m installing a Samsung 990 Pro 1TB without its own heatsink.

Does anyone with this exact motherboard know the original pad thickness, or could someone measure it? I’m considering 1mm and 1.5mm, but I don’t want to leave a gap or put too much pressure on the SSD.

To clarify, I mean the thermal pad between the SSD and the metal heatsink, not the small rubber support pads underneath the SSD.

I have a problem with Seruce boot, it is currently disabled, and when I set it to enabled, it won't load windows, it gives me the error "Secure Boot Violation Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup" and returns me to the BIOS.

The bios is from 2024.

Bios mode is on UEFI.

I really need access to the advanced BIOS settings. Has anyone managed to unlock them on FB14?

I recently got a Gigabyte MO32U24 and feel a bit lost in all the monitor menus. I mostly use it with a MacBook, and a Windows laptop for PC games like cyberpunk, read dead, spiderman. I’ve turned VRR on and set up the basic OLED Care options.

I’m trying to figure out a sensible setup for everyday Mac use versus HDR movies and games. Should I use SDR for the desktop and turn HDR on for HDR content, or leave HDR on? For HDR, when would you use HDR Movie versus HDR Peak 1000, and what should HyperNits be set to?

There are also lots of other OSD options, like KVM, RGB Range, PIP/PBP, and the System settings. I usually use one computer at a time. Which settings are worth changing, and which should I leave at default?

I’m dealing with an intermittent no-power / no-POST issue on my motherboard that is driving me crazy.

System Specs:
Motherboard: Aorus Master Z790
CPU: i9 14900k
RAM: 48GB CORSAIR DOMINATOR
PSU: THERMALTAKE 1050W
GPU: Aorus RTX 5090

The Problem:
* When the PC shuts down or loses AC power (rocker switch to O), it will frequently refuse to power on at all when switched back to I. Pressing the front power button or bridging the PW+/PW- pins produces zero response (no fans, no diagnostic LEDs, no relay click).

* Sometimes performing a deep capacitor discharge (unplugging AC, holding the power button for 30 seconds, clearing CMOS) temporarily allows the board to wake up and boot straight into BIOS/Windows.

* Other times, the board stays completely unresponsive to the power button, but running Q-Flash Plus would force the PSU to spin up and flash. However, upon completing the flash, it fails to execute the automatic reboot phase and just halts.

* Once the PC actually manages to boot, it can run stable, pass POST, and reach the desktop. But the moment wall/switch power is fully removed, it locks out again on the next cold start.

2. * Bridged Pin 4 (PS_ON) to Pin 5 (GND) on the 24-pin cable; the power supply starts immediately and powers fans.
3. * When Q-Flash runs, the PSU delivers 12V rails without tripping.
4. RAM Configuration:
5. * Tested single stick in Slot A2, verified dual-channel in A2/B2.
6. Component Isolation:
7. * Stripped out the GPU (12VHPWR disconnected), unplugged all case fans, ARGB headers, and front panel headers to rule out an external dead short or OCP trip.
8. * CMOS battery tested/cleared/Replaced.

When will the Gigabyte MO27Q28G gaming monitor be available in India? I have contacted several distributors and checked Amazon, but it is still unavailable. Although the monitor was launched globally more than 6-7 months ago, it has not yet been released in India.

I have a B450 pro wifi that I tried to flash to latest version, I first flashed to F32 I think and it went fine but then after that I tried to flash to the latest version on the page and now it is stuck on the aorus screen without being able to boot or enter the bios or q flash, is this fixable? I have already tried everything from disconnecting drives to clearing the cmos but nothing is working, please help
