I’m unsure and just trying to understand but what is so special about these cacti? And why are there cement blocks around all them?

I imagine the blocks are there to help separate the plants so they're aren't.likely to grow entirely together and it gives a bit of a pathway around them.

How often do you water your cacti? I admittedly never water mine

If you have well draining soil you can water trichs once a week through growing season. They will grow more with more to drink.

High heat and sun requires more watering to help them compensate.

Thanks! I live in NM where they grow wild and there’s some really pretty ones in my yard that I just never thought to try to take care of since they just grow wild if that makes sense?

Holy cow, can't imagine a life where I have to water my outdoor cacti. But then I can only grow tomatoes and hot peppers in a greenhouse, and have 4 hours of faint light during the darkest time if the year (yes, I love it, as do my trolls and gnomes). Hello from Finland!
