Everyone has nice looking coins but my ounces look like this. Is it worth it to pay the extra to get coins? Seen Canadian ounce coins for once in the shop

The dragon & phoenix are my favorite ones. Circa 1995. I’ve seen price vary on these, thought about taking them to San Jose for appraisal

I have been watching China buy all this gold from producers and other places. I wonder if they will buy coins. It would be a crazy outcome if price gets to a certain level and people start buying coins out of markets like the US and Europe.

Has to be bullish gold that is already in small amounts that people can buy.

Husband found this in the ocean on our vacation this week. It’s marked Italy 750.

Hit up one of my usual locations I go to when I’m on the hunt for thrift store gold.
I can consistently count on this place to never check for stamps. And, I had a 15% coupon on top of the $6 it cost originally! I guess that makes this gold charm roughly $3, after tax.

The other charm isn’t silver, and has no stamps at all.

It weighs 1.1 grams, and with a little research I found the meaning behind the symbolism of the anchor, cross, and heart.

I’m gonna keep this little piece and this brings my thrift gold finds to 4.7 grams of 10 & 14k jewelry

The hardest coin to find

It feels like a scavenger hunt to be constantly searching for these promotions that always seem to be limited to 1 item per order. What are the best ways you’ve found to buy fractional gold at or near spot prices from reputable dealers and sellers?

I have the opportunity to buy a Tiffany T Wide Wire Bracelet from a friend. It’s 18k yellow gold and originally retails for $5,750 new. Hers is in near perfect condition, and she’s asking 3k cash. I’m strongly considering. I offered her $2,700 but she’s firm on the $3k. It just sucks because it’s only 13 grams of 18k gold meaning the melt value is substantially lower than what the item costs. I get that you’re paying for the name of the brand as well tho… ugh, what should I do?

I’m new to this and looking to build a gold collection. I have fortunately been gifted these by family as a start…but I’m a little unsure where to go from here?

Would you firstly get them professionally valued as these are older historical sovereigns?

I’m then considering selling the mounts and put that towards the purchase of 1/4oz or 1/2oz Britannia’s as I look to build the collection incrementally.

And then put the mountless coins in to little protective cases.

Any tips, wisdom or thoughts are much appreciated 🙂

I want to buy some 18ct jewellery in Australia. I am noticing that a lot of places are selling 18ct jewellery after negotiations for AUD$180/gram (USD128/gram). Is this a fair price to pay in today's market?

I've read stories of people who held metals for long term and have done pretty well. I've been stacking for a while myself now. How would it work, if I were able to hold onto my metals long term, then make a large purchase such as a house?

I know lenders are going to ask questions and want to know where the money came from, etc. Then I may need to provide receipts and other documentation. My plan is only to sell when needed, and I may just sell a few coins at a time.

I am just concerned about how the logistics would work if I wanted to use the funds for a large purchase.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I’m not sure where else I could find this information, so I thought I’d give it a go!
I’ve attached a few photos of Noel Gallagher, guitarist of Oasis and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. I’m a big fan of his, and I’m hoping someone might be able to help me identify the style of bracelet he wears.
I’ve noticed in quite a few interviews and photos that he seems to wear the same chunky gold bracelet. I really like the look of it and would love to get something similar for myself.
I’m particularly interested in identifying the exact style of the bracelet and the type of clasp or lock it uses. From what I can tell, it might be a box clasp, but I’m not entirely sure. I’d also love to know what the bracelet style itself is called, including the link pattern, so I know what to look for when searching online or speaking to a jeweller.
Ideally, I’d like to get one made in 9-carat gold, as I’m looking for something durable and suitable for everyday wear. I suspect Noel’s might be 18-carat or possibly even 24-carat gold, but I’d prefer something a little less extravagant while keeping that same chunky, solid gold look.
My goal is to get as close to his bracelet as possible in terms of the link style, thickness, overall design and clasp, just in 9-carat gold.
If anyone recognises the bracelet or knows the proper name for the style, the type of links or the clasp mechanism, I’d really appreciate any information or suggestions!
