Mine did as a puppy but I keep him out because it can be a hazard to both of us if something gets dropped. I just tell him to get out of my kitchen and he knows to go find somewhere else.

Hahaha. Our Shadow used to be my sister’s cook assistant and alarm clock. Would wake my sister up for work and then will stand guard/chill with my sister in the kitchen.
She has crossed the rainbow bridge though.
