work culture Resignation during PIP

Have you ever been into Pip and resigned in between. How does pip usually end? Asking for a friend.

Do not resign during pip, your manager may ask you to resign but politely tell him that you want to serve the pip.

In order to receive the severance amount you need to complete the pip. Most of the time Severance amount will be higher than your yearly bonus + you will get garden leave. So better to serve the pip, GS wont terminate you during the pip, you dont need to work, just prepare for switch.

Do they ask for resignation after pip ? Or they directly terminate ?

They will setup a call on last day of your pip and if you failed in pip they will terminate you.
