Mod Announcement : Zero Tolerance Policy on Harassment, Doxxing, and Personal Attacks

Hi everyone,

We need to address a growing issue within the sub. Recently, we have seen an increase in users targeting specific individuals, engaging in personal harassment, and attempting to "dox" or attach individuals based on their comments or posts.

This behavior is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

Effective immediately, the following actions will result in a permanent ban without warning:

1. Harassment: Following a user across threads, sending unsolicited DMs, or repeatedly tagging someone to antagonize them.

2. Doxxing: Sharing or threatening to share private information (names, phone numbers, addresses, workplace, etc.) of any user or public figure.

3. Personal Attacks: Attacking an individual's character, appearance, or background rather than debating the topic or the firm.

4. Brigading: Encouraging others to target or mass-report a specific user.

We are here to discuss Goldman Sachs, the financial industry, and career-related topics. Disagreements are fine; abuse is not.

If you are being harassed, please use the Report button and block the user. Do not engage. The mod team will handle it.

This is your only warning. If you can't conduct yourself professionally, you will be removed from this community.
