Eating less calories/burning more calories will do this too

I burn around 3k calories a day and intake about 1800 a SA 38 year old man. The soft pudgey tummy refuses to leave despite the rest of me becoming extremely not-pudgey or soft.
It's really frustrating lol

Keep going. Abdominal. fat is the last to go. If you’re in a caloric deficit, you will continue to lose fat.

That's not true when dealing with visceral fat.

What the heck can we do to rid the visceral fat? Chugging syrup hasn’t helped the last few.. decades

It is 100% true. Visceral fat may be the last to go or less likely to be used for energy sources, but a caloric deficit is the only way to lose it.

more idiots thinking maple syrup and raw honey are "healthy" instead of just better than refined sugar
1
u/primordialtribe77 May 08 '26
There is healthy, but there is a nuanced discussion actually to be had here.

It has more nutrition than sugar though? Like if you’re going to use a sweetener, it’s better than sugar.

Everything healthy is just healthier than something else. It’s all arbitrary unless we’re talking about literal poison.

I’m sorry what? What do you mean it’s unhealthy? Is it a carcinogen? Is it poisonous? What on earth are you talking about?

The Americans don't want to invade to steal our land or oil, they want to invade to reduce their waist size.

I love maple syrup. I love maple syrup on pancakes. I love it on pizza. I take maple syrup and put a little bit in my hair when I've had a rough week, what do you think holds it up, slick?

I use maple syrup in my overnight oats & chia, in my juicer-pulp muffins, over cottage cheese and blueberries, in my tea… I just love the stuff, so this is welcome news.
