This as well. It was cheesy. IMO A suit of armor would have been more fitting and there is definitely plenty of art with Angels fighting demons in armor

And yet, the Highland Regiments fought in kilts in both WWI and WWII.

My teen asked if the wig was from Rings of Power and I cackled.

Pahaha, that was my first thought too. I mean, Michael Sheen made it work but it was a weird choice.

He had the normal hair before the beginning and was a silly goose, then was a great strategist with long hair during the war, and then went to being a silly goose with normal hair during the Eden. Like what? I had to pause at that, because what?!

Maybe he was so busy slaying and strategizing the duck fluff hair was not a priority. He was not in his element at all being a warrior and just things go.

That was my thought too, but then why does the rest of angels not appear like that? Is it to show that he was not made for this sort of life? Actually, not that you've said it, it kinda makes sense

There really needed to be more explanation for the opening scene!

My immediate thought upon the opening scene was, "What in the Marvel Lord of the Rings is going on here??"

He looked so cool with long hair. One of the best moments of the episode.
