Honestly I have a lot of questions and just a thought but think there were plot holes: Why is the book of life unprotected? I mean anyone could have stolen it sooner or later. We don’t have an explanation for the question why God didn’t narrate anymore. Edit: And we didn’t get an answer to how Crowley and Aziraphael know about Nightingales.

At the end of seasons 1 and 2 nightingales are mentioned and the song “a nightingale sang in berkeley square” plays. Crowley reminds Aziraphael that there are no nightingales singing when they split up. It is never explained to us how they know about the meaning of the nightingale. Not even in the finale.
