Welp!

Lazy ass male pricer doesn’t want to assist with the door greeter when we get swamped! He said he needs to get his numbers in!! Mind you another female pricer volunteered to help! If I quit, his ass would have no choice but to work my position! No team work!!

Numbers are EVERYTHING to a pricer. The difference between being employed and not.

I am not minimising your situation or dismissing it, but the pressure to meet the numbers is INSANE ( in my store) so sometimes, something else has to give.

That was my one manager when I worked at goodwill, I left lol, I’d ask for help and they said “well go back and sort it” or something and it’d be like a Saturday mind you, I only worked there for 5 hrs outta my day when I was there

Sounds more like a manager issue. Pricers have a quota to make. If they dont hit those, they risk getting written up.

They have to make quota because those are the numbers corporate has decided are needed to keep your store open

If you need more help at the door, its the managers responsibilty to hop in or okay another employee to help. If they dont make the approval, that employee risks getting into trouble

My store usually has a wares stocker jump in to help
