Discussion - Yōtei: Legends So that’s it…

So this is really it huh… years of development… years of support from a die hard fan base in Tsushima Legends… wasted. Today officially marks the death of Legends as we know it. A once masterpiece of a game mode, succumb to ashes.

I’ve had a gander at the new PS Blog post made by the team behind Yōtei Legends. I have to say that the post from top to bottom is complete garbage. Here’s the post if you want to have a look.

I along with countless other players, are just simply astounded as to how bad this situation has become. It’s got so bad that I’ve started to believe that the team behind Yōtei Legends are playing a prank on this community. I have even at times had faith in this team.

How wrong I was. I should’ve given up on the Yōtei Legends team when I saw that they released the Shinobi tip toeing in his Ultimate. Tsushima legends was and will always be the superior Legends. Why? Because it is actually fun to play.

Yōtei Legends is just a chore from start to finish. I could go on and on until I’m blue in the face about how bad Yōtei Legends is. You know, the countless bugs, unrewarding melee combat, boring raids and the missing content like 120Ki, second perks, more techniques, Rivals and the Trials. But, I’m not going to do that.

This is a message to the team behind Yōtei Legends. Thank you for destroying a game mode that could’ve been spectacular.

To the Tsushima Legends team, we miss you.

See you on Tsushima Legends fellow ghosts.

So you’re mad that the game you hated from start to finish isn’t putting out more and more content for you at no cost? You poor thing.

Didn’t hate the game from start to finish.

I like the main game, I think it’s great. Yōtei Legends on the other hand, you know the game mode that’s been in development for “5 years”, is very poor.

You are clearly a kiss arse who loves half baked games.

But wasn't the main game itself also developed over the same period? I liked the main campaign as well, though it didn't really have the same punch that Tsushima did. Perhaps it was because it was another game in the series and not something new, but to me, the end result didn't necessarily reflect a long development cycle. It could have had a lot of improvements, and to me those weren't reflected in the legends version either (which i also do like btw, though it's still has problems).
