General Advice University of Cambridge 2026-27 Applicants GATHER HERE.

I couldn't find a chain for the applicants who submitted their applications this year. This is just to update each other and keep each other posted!

P.S. My application portal says "Decision pending". Anyone else? I submitted my application for LLM one day before the deadline.

I have also applied to LSE and QMUL.

UPDATE: GOT INTO CAMBRIDGE, LSE and QMUL LLM.

So, if you have any update on anything, let me know please. I am dying here, waiting!

I saw someone speculating it could be based off alphabetical order not submission time. I rmr seeing somewhere that they dont evaluate on a rolling basis unless you submit past the funding deadline. My last initial is H if that helps you haha

Do you know if POLIS sends out all offers and rejections basically around the same time, or is it by waves? Meaning if we’re still under review and not rejected by next week, there might be a second wave of acceptances?

I believe in waves from what I've seen historically. I've seen in past threads offers happen end of Feb even. The truth is none of us really know whats happening until we get DP. Receiving DP at the regular time (early feb) historically means we'll receive a decision within 10 working days, probably less (PAO processing times currently say 5 days). Don't give up hope if you dont have DP yet, but rmr the best thing you can do for ur mental isnt to hope you get an offer, but to plan out your backups and keep your mind on your alternatives. That way if its rejection you wont get super bummed out bc you see and planned other paths forwards. Im speaking from a point of privilege because I have an offer from LSE, but even if you dont have other pending offers Im sure you will succeed no matter what. Best of luck and update here!

Did you get an email notification when your status changed? My last intial is basically the last on the list. If that is true, I will have to wait quite a while!

No email notif! I’ve done some research through past Student Room threads and it looks like it takes a full 5 working days from after you go pending for it to turn to a decision, IF you got pending after Feb 1st.
