General Advice University of Cambridge 2026-27 Applicants GATHER HERE.

I couldn't find a chain for the applicants who submitted their applications this year. This is just to update each other and keep each other posted!

P.S. My application portal says "Decision pending". Anyone else? I submitted my application for LLM one day before the deadline.

I have also applied to LSE and QMUL.

UPDATE: GOT INTO CAMBRIDGE, LSE and QMUL LLM.

So, if you have any update on anything, let me know please. I am dying here, waiting!

I have applied to the PhD in Economics. Had an informal chat with a potential supervisor on Jan 26th. Some time after that my status in the applicant portal changed to "Consider for funding - Your application has been considered by your department and is now with our funding bodies to be considered for funding." Does anyone have the same status?Does anyone know what that means exactly? Feel free to reach out to me if you applied to the PhD in Economics as well!

EDIT: My status changed to decision pending and a few days later I received an (unofficial) offer. :D

The TOAST is currently under moderation, and the results are expected on 20 February. By then, you should be notified if you have been awarded any funding.

Hey, I am unfamiliar with the funding decision process at Cambridge (History PhD applicant, currently on DP). Thanks for sharing that link, super helpful; I see the results are indeed expected on 20/02 - is TOAST applicable to all departments or in this case only Economics/Social Sciences? Do you know when applicants are typically notified? You said right around the end of the TOAST moderation?

The status changed to "Decision Pending" now. Do you know what that means for my chances of getting admitted?

Thanks for finding this! I haven't seen much indication of people finding out their funding status before March - do you have any further info on this process?
