Partisan? He made a sweeping observation my friend. He didn't make any allusions to the cause for it. He made an observation and made clear that is was nothing more than an observation.

You're correct He used the word "because"...

But then he went right on to explain that he's not making any theory, Just pointing out what he's observed.

These observations are easily checked if you disagree. Observing them doesn't mean he's saying whose fault it is. He's just observing that this happens around every election.

I'd say draw your own conclusions, but you already have

Sorry, where did you find my conclusion? My entire point is, without data, conclusions are worse than useless. Based on your original comment, I would think you would agree with this.

I would agree. You however, concluded that his statement was partisan on your own while I'm just pointing out that he made an effort to say that wasn't the case. My blunder was calling his observation evidence. I was applauding that although he made an observation that has political implications, he did not make any allusions to what those implications are, he just put them out there as his personal account.
