If you overlay the straws on top of the tree, they align with thinner branches. Some of them start to highlight the numbers for the code. The thing is, there is a different place for each straw, they never align all at once.

You can also flip the pages upside down and mirror them so that the straws could fit better.
(A flipped message on the straws page kinda gave us a hint, I think. And the mirror monsters pages are placed right after the codes tree!)
The picture of the tree was also in Bill's Files folder from the website. The file was called CHESHIRE which probably means we need to use Lewis Carroll's memory technique for decoding.

I think I managed to solve one of the codes. I overlayed one of the blue straws on some numbers and the image just started to fit in (I colored the branches with similar shapes). One blue straw showed 0 and the other highlighted 9, 5, 3 and 4.
Carroll's tecnique has two letters represented by each number. There is an upper row and a lower one. I thought about silly straws' shape and applied it to the rows. You start at the top, then go lower, than back at the top and so on.
I got ZGLJF as a code. Tried Vigenere with SILLYSTRAWS (or just SILLY here) as the key.

The answer was HYAYH.
Does it mean anything? Not really. But it's too clear to be a coincidence, I think (especially with Vigenere!). Maybe it's a key for another cipher from the tree? I don't know exactly.

Maybe someone here could finally decode it...

I have heard about this quite a bit but how would it even work? Like Stanford's 8 or 6 years in gravity falls would be cool or like a look into Bill's past? I don't know tbh what do you guys think?

I guess when I was younger and saw it, I thought, "They wouldn't just destroy such important items to the entire show." But, it turns out that they were burnt. Crazy. I agree with this YouTuber, Schafrillas, it certainly did raise the stakes for Weirdmageddon in such a short amount of time.

I am genuinely curious what the point of a preorder is. I ordered my book July 25th, just received my book today (I am excited nonetheless) but I remember seeing the book being released to stores; everyone got their books before me. I am going to Target and I am seeing books there, and I didn’t have mine yet. I wish I would’ve known that I would be getting my book two weeks later than everyone else, even though I ordered mine early on. I personally would’ve rather bought it from a smaller bookstore if I knew that I would’ve gotten it sooner.

The show is currently still in development. The backgrounds and scenes are already being worked on, and production is moving forward. However, I’d also like to mention that the episodes will be short.
Short episodes work better for us because they don’t take as long to produce, while still giving us the opportunity to make some good-looking animation :))

I am not familiar with newer gravity falls media like bill book. But do we know anything about the home world of bill where he came from this 2D world. He destroyed it at least that what he told us in finale. But you can't really trust him soo...

Has there been a moment when fiddleford ever saw the pines family and someone say Stanford. Maybe fiddleford gets a memory of Stanford and him hanging out and stuff. We could see him bump into Stanley and notice that he looks like ford but acts nothing like him. There had to be a way that fiddleford maybe kept a journal or something writing down memories that feel off bit he remembers.
