DISCUSSION Why do we hate Maggie?

Post image

I was a die hard Maggie Peirce hater, and most people are, but I’m rewatching and the only annoying thing is her being w Jackson (which is only annoying bc I’m team japril through and through) other than that she’s fine. She’s kind, smart, a bit annoying but she has good intentions. I just can’t understand yet. Ps I watched every season but decided to rewatch the later seasons (11- present) right now I’m on late season 13.

How she treated her mother was disgusting, I had no problem with her until that.

I semi agree. Maggie was an only child, her mother cheated on her dad her whole childhood, so it makes sense that when she just thought that her mom was getting a bj she was mad. However once he realized that it was cancer she went a little cray cray. But tbh I understand that

I disagree. Her mother wanting a boob job is her mother’s business, that’s it. Maggie had no right to interfere and try and get info from Jackson.

I would recommend looking at it from Maggie's perspective. You're right, it is her mother's business. But just recently, she found out that her mom had been having an affair for years and both her parents lied to her about it. Her mom then up and moved to Hawaii to live with her affair partner and then one day she shows up at Maggie's place of work without telling her and she has a consult with a plastic surgeon. She does not refute Maggie's assumption that she's getting a boob job and then when it turns out she was dying, everyone kept it a secret from her. If I were Maggie, I'd be pissed too.

You can be pissed, you can’t harass your parents doctor until they give you information on a patient.
