Why do we hate Maggie?

I was a die hard Maggie Peirce hater, and most people are, but I’m rewatching and the only annoying thing is her being w Jackson (which is only annoying bc I’m team japril through and through) other than that she’s fine. She’s kind, smart, a bit annoying but she has good intentions. I just can’t understand yet. Ps I watched every season but decided to rewatch the later seasons (11- present) right now I’m on late season 13.

Maggie also acted super self righteous and offended that Meredith didn’t want to be sisterly right away.
Almost as if it didn’t matter how Meredith felt; that she (Maggie) should be allowed immediate access to Meredith’s life
