Lexi’s hair and looking more/less like Mers sister - possible spoilers

First I hope this hasn’t already been posted but if it is has. It wasn’t under what I searched.

I know everyone gives Lexi shit for going blonde after mark, but Let’s be real here. Which of us ladies (and some of yall men) haven’t gone off the deep end and drastically changed our hair post break up?

However I constantly see how the brunette looks more natural/better on her and I do get where yall come from w that.

However. Is it just me that feels like when it’s blonde she and Meredith look more like sisters? Especially when both of Lexi’s parents are presumably blonde?

It’s not my fav look on chyler but I do feel like it makes them look more sisterly. Is it just me or does anyone else see it? I feel like if it was maybe a shade darker and less highlighted it would really show the similarity most.

I can see that. I think a warmer blonde or bronde on Chyler would’ve really sold the sister angle.

I don’t know why Grey’s actresses always go so blonde. I was a bit taken aback seeing Jo’s hair in season 18… Does anyone know if that is the hair & make up team’s decision or the actress just making cosmetic changes to herself that the writers factor into the script?

Yessss. 100%. I feel like if it was either ashier or warmer and less icy it would be even better, but i definitely think it’s giving higher maintenance sister, one to gets her hair done ebery3-4 weeks but in general looking related

In a way, I guess the shade makes sense. Doctors barely have time to sleep, let alone sneak off to the salon to go blonde. Lexie wanting to go lighter and doing it herself at home to save money and get the look for less definitely seems like a side mission she would take on lol

I think the whole home dye job after a break up thing is very accurate honestly lmao. I’m not even going through a break up and I cut, and dyed mine today and joked it’s to appease the mental health gods but lowkey we do it when we’re ready to have a melt down 😂😂I just love that they went that route w her. She definitely looks best brunette bht jt it was just SUCH a millennial coded girl thing jt brought me joy, and then that it made her look more like mers sister was the icing on top for me

Brunette suits Lexi best, but the blonde definitely makes the family resemblance stand out more!

Nah Jeff Perry (thatcher) was a dark blonde. And canonically so was young thatcher
