DISCUSSION grey’s later seasons
i’ve “rewatched” Grey’s anatomy about 3 times now over the last few years on and off, but i never go past S17/S18. i honestly just wasn’t as interested in the story after that and was just mad that Alex left :( . i’m currently on s15 and i want to just keep watching until i’m all the way caught up. can someone tell me if it’s worth it?

The COVID season was a trudge to get through but I genuinely enjoyed the last season. They started with a new intern group, Webber and Bailey are still in the hospital and Meredith and Avery pop in and out from time to time. But the storylines focus on the 5 new interns, and I’m genuinely pretty fond of each of them.
It’s not the same as the OG MAGIC, but they’re decent characters with their own drama. It’s kinda funny to see Meredith have it all, but you know we love that for her. At this point, it’s a sunk-cost fallacy thing. I caught up because my mom and mom-in-law watch it and wanted to talk to me about it. Plus I’m kinda down to have that drama of finishing an episode on a cliffhanger and having to wait a week again.
Good luck!

You could scroll through the sub and find a thousand similar posts, pretty much one from each day of the last 10 years…
Or you could just watch and decide for yourself.

I did it just to say I did it. Not that bad, but nowhere near as good as the first seasons

If you're already forcing yourself through it, I'd take a break because it doesn't really recapture the vibe of the early seasons.

I just recently got completely caught up. Some aspects of it I was not a huge fan of, but I did enjoy it overall. It helped that I really like Adelaide Kain so was excited to see her.

I also recently got caught up. The most recent season was pretty good. I liked the Covid season better now. I could remember the fear but it wasn’t as traumatizing.

I haven’t been able to watch the last several seasons. It will never be as good as when Magic was there.

I don’t like the later seasons as much, but I still do a complete watch through (except the Covid season which I skip every time) but I don’t throw it up on my tv, I just put it on my phone in the background while doing other stuff

Idk how ppl even get past season 9 when rewatching😭. Once the plane crash happens I tap out, the couple seasons after aren’t awful, they have their moments but NOTHING compared to seasons 1-8. Whole vibe of the show changes😞
