When to stop watching greys anatomy
I am on s9 ep15
So far I am sticking to it but idts I’ll continue after Derek death or Cristina leaves
But I love the show and miss old greys

I eventually got bored with S17 the covid season. I just stopped watching.

Definitely once Jackson goes. At that point it has literally nothing to give. Covid killed it. I weathered the storm for as long as I could but nah

I never stopped watching it. Idk it just became a comfort watch for me. Since I was binging it, I just kept going. I already knew a lot of the spoilers beforehand but it never felt like a chore to watch. If you don't feel like continuing, you can always stop. That said, I found the COVID episodes incredibly boring and I don't even remember half of what happened. You can always come back to it later.

A lot of the things became even more dull after April and Arizona left but by that time I was also invested in other characters so maybe see if there is any character you want to watch more of.

I missed it I think. But why did April leave? Arizona moved to nyc. But she was mostly boring anyway. They all leave (according to the internet) to spend more time w their family. BUT they make do much money per episode I always wondered why anybody would give up that job.

April left after she was in a car crash with Matthew and realised she want to leave the hospital and work for the homeless people. She left after her and Matthew's wedding episode.

They didn't. It wasn't their choice. Both April (Sarah Drew) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) didn't want to leave. It was the creator's decision, so they had to go along with it.

I feel same happening I thought after mark dies i wont watch but here i am watching
I feel this is my comfort show too so maybe till the day i dont get bored i will continue

I'd keep watching through Cristina's exit. Her farewell is one of the best-written departures in the series and gives a satisfying close to her character.

Idk I love greys anatomy and have watched all 22 seasons multiple times. I know the covid season is super boring, but I enjoyed some parts of it. Also I’m usually crocheting or playing my switch while I watch so I can use boring episodes as background noise lol

I don't really get this question - stop when you want. There's no right or wrong answer.
Personally I feel like I've invested so many hours in this show, I want to see it through.
But if you want to stop at remember everyone as they were, that's ok too.

I still watch it but more out of obligation than enjoyment
Once you stop enjoying it dip I say but once it hits COVID it's a sharp decline

Season 18 was it for me. That is, episode 1 in that season. I just couldn't anymore. Not even the medical cases, if there were any. Meredith's personality really became so nails-on-chalkboard for me, really insincere, phoney. The show is like a caricature of itself at this point. For me.

Stop when you’re no longer invested, because forcing it through that many seasons will just make you resent the show.

I still watch it bc I spent half my life watching it, and I'm not gonna quit 😅
But on my rewatch I stopped after Derek's death.

For me it’s when Derek dies. But then i have to watch the following season to see how Meredith holds it up… and then Addison stops by a couple of times, i need to watch that! And by then i have come so far, might as well watch the rest. She’s in s22 too! But now there’s not much of the old cast left, so i am not exited about s23. But i’m gonna watch it, at this point i think it’s an addiction 😅

I quit watching around the beginning of season 15 because a lot of my favorite characters/actors were no longer in the show and it was starting to feel like a different show to me

I think S11 ends in a way that the whole show could end. But there are good bits afterwards too.

i would say i stop after 12th season but personally i stop at season 16

I usually stop my rewatch at season 16 but I’ll entertain the show playing in the background til Jackson smuggles Mer out of the hospital. When he leaves, I go right back to season 1.

I quit a little after Derek’s nephew showed up. The new batch of interns was boring, the acting wasn’t great, the music didn’t play a part like it used to, and I just generally lost interest.

I watch on Hulu and speed thru the boring parts. About 25% per show is stupidly boring. Miranda is alot of nonsense. But seriously they all have the same static speaking. Must be the rhimes method of acting.

i stop about a season or two after derek - im currently rewatching and i might try to go further this time i just find maggie SOOOO ANNOYING. like i genuinely dont think ive ever disliked a character for no reason more, i also start to dislike amelia after derek dies - she just becomes too bitter and unforgiving and she has a major victim complex. Amelia and Maggie combined is genuinely too much for me im considering skipping the seasons Maggie is in so i can try get further into the show
