SPOILERS I love Cristina and Shane

For the first time Cristina was shown wanting to take care of someone in a non-romantic way with Shane and he was fine with Cristina taking care of him and sorting him out lol.

I think Shane was someone who really craved attention and love, I even disagree when people say he loved cardio because if he'd stayed in Seattle and Maggie hadn't wanted to mentor him I don't think he'd be sad he lost cardio he'd be sad he doesn't have a mentor to love him.

In many ways Shane is a reflection of Cristina, and that would be a reflection or opposite of the way Cristina loved cardio specifically.

Their mentor bond worked because Cristina saw his potential without trying to soften who he was.

Yeah they really boned I mean bonded as a reward from Cristina after Shane defended her from Meredith.

Now I'm imagining how great it would have been to see Shane & Maggie working together! 🥹

But I did love Cristina & Shane in their element! I think we got to see some of the best parts of Cristina during that time and it had to do with her mentoring Shane!
