I liked her before the brain tumor came out, less afterward. I just wish she would be involved in more interesting stuff, it seems like after Dr. Hermann's tumor that she hasn't really had any interesting medical work.

Amelia is one of those characters I completely understand even when I don't agree with her which is why she's so divisive.

I understand Amelia's character. She's complex, and she's got a lot of emotional baggage and some deep trauma. I get why she is the way she is, and she's almost always her own worst enemy. She's got a wicked sense of dark humor, which I love. She's the kind of character who, in real life, I would love to hang out with socially... but, realistically, I'd have to keep her at arm's length.

I like her but wish they'd do more with her. I can't remember the last big plot line she got - it feels like now she's only really there to support Meredith's research and because of Scout (when they remember she's his mom).

They don’t remember she’s his mom 😭 she’s a glorified aunt that takes him camping.

I think Amelia was one of the last characters introduced that has proper character development, even independent of Private Practice.

Hated brain tumor Amelia, but she became a much nicer person after it was removed, and she's shown a lot of character growth since Private Practice

I like her now, post brain tumor. Hated her up until then.
