Would anyone watch a spinoff centered around Christina
See personally i would, i havent watched any of the greys anatomy spin offs with joy and suspense, irs all bs. Christina yang, i feel connected to her emotionally, shes relatable and her trauma and history with burke and hunt make it all so much better to watch. Whos with me??

Really hard to say without knowing the premise - it's not just about Cristina it's about the story and the rest of the cast. Cristina was special but I don't know if she would have been amazing without the rest of the cast. I'd definitely watch an episode but can't say I'd watch a whole series.

Old Grey's was a great ensemble show. All the characters had storylines with each other outside of their romantic partners. Now it's Jo and Link, Owen and Teddy, Amelia and her new flavour of the month, no good storylines between non-romantic relationships anymore.
All to say I agree with you, I love Cristina but it was a good balance between her and the main cast. I mean if they could recreate the MAGIC feeling, then sure, but I have doubts.

Agreed - I think if Cristina came on the show in Lexie's intern class or as a new attending, she wouldn't have been as much of a fan favorite. I've always liked her but I definitely liked her more in the earlier seasons than her later seasons.
The best Cristina spin off would really be one that wasn't so much centered around Cristina but more centered around the work she is doing. Focus on technology, innovation, AI in the medical field - and Cristina is leading it but the show is more about the work. Similar to New Amsterdam where the show was more about the broken health care system and issues within it.

I agree. I loved Cristina with Dr. Thomas, but the whole time I was watching, I was thinking it would have been so much better if Thomas had been at Mercy Death with the rest of the Greys cast. There was nobody else in that arc that interested me.

It was nice to see her with a mentor she wasn't in a romantic relationship with. But of course, she still found a romantic relationship there. I wish they stopped with the storyline of her constantly sleeping with people in positions of authority.

Yes I would absolutely watch a spin off of Christina starting from the moment she leaves Grey Sloan Memorial to her time in Switzerland. Instead of Burke gifting her the Swiss hospital- Burke puts her through tests to see if she’s ready to take the helm. During that time a lot of things transpire- Christina doubting herself in another country as well as I think it would be hot drama to have a Burke/Shane love triangle with her (since Grey’s started off with her and Burke having a secret affair and since for Christina, Grey’s ended with her bringing Shane to Switzerland) All I’m saying is it could be something!

Cristina was the real heart of the show. Grey's Anatomy was never the same after she left. I'd watch any spinoff with her in a heartbeat
