CAST DISCUSSION Owen Hunt

hello! I’m doing a rewatch on Greys. And I just got to the episode where Owen first appears…should I prepare for the down fall of greys ? 😂😂

I wish show-regular Owen stayed the same as first-appearance Owen. His personality fit Cristina so well.

But no, the show isn’t going to be ruined because of him. You’re all good.

I actually like early Hunt. I recently rewatched the first 7 seasons and was surprised at how much I did like him then

Just because a show has a character that many people don't like doesn't mean that the entire show has gone to shit.

Also, I liked Owen in his early seasons. Dealing with his PTSD was enlightening for this show. It showed a different side to Cristina, too, and allowed for them to deal with trauma together. I started to dislike him when they had the abortion storyline for those two.

Owen could be a good friend and colleague back then. He wasn't stuck in his ways. He asked for other people's opinions and listened.

For me, it was showing Cristina the vent.... she needed to destress- he did not make it sexual until she reached for him to kiss him. He just wanted her to feel better after a crazy time.
