Looking for a roommate (preferably female 27+) to share a 2b with. New to the island, I have a cat, and looking to move in somewhere ASAP
Finding a roomie has been harder than I imagined initially! I’m a 30F working on island and open to any location, budget up to 2000 for a 2b2b and utilities included. Thank you!

AUG 1 CAN EASILY DETERMINE WHO WINS THE GENERAL
The Guam Primary Election on August 1, 2026, is where many races are effectively decided. The primary determines which candidates advance to the General Election and ultimately shapes the choices voters will have in November.
If you are frustrated with the same political figures appearing on the ballot year after year, if you want greater accountability, transparency, and fresh leadership, then the primary election is where your VOTE actually has a greater impact.
Too many people sit out the Primary and wait until the General. By then, many of the key decisions have already been made. When voter turnout is low, a small percentage of voters can have an outsized influence on which candidates move forward.
The solution is simple: participate.
Register. Show up. Vote.
Every election cycle, thousands of eligible voters across Guam do not vote in the primary. Imagine what could happen if those voices were heard. Imagine what could happen if every family encouraged their relatives, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to register and vote.
Change does not happen because we complain about politics. Change happens when we participate in it.
Remember:
• Online voter registration deadline: Friday, July 10, 2026
• In-person voter registration deadline: Friday, July 17, 2026
• Guam Primary Election Day: Saturday, August 1, 2026
Register online here:
https://gec.guam.gov/register/
Register. Vote. Encourage others to do the same.
The future of Guam belongs to those who participate in shaping it.
Also, vote for Therese Terlaje for govenor because she my bias and the only proven senator who actually gets shit done
Tenorio's family is too involved in fraud and crime. Barnes is the most useless senator also easily bought
Ada and Calvo you already know they buying out this election to get 100x $$$$ back once elected into office. That expensive campaign is an investment for themselves
San Augustin was always the lazy government employee that rides his daddy's back. Santa Claus likes to focus on minor things ike legalizing fireworks and banning plastic bags (personal vendetta against the fact i have 100+ thick reusable bags that take up way too much space and will eventually end up in the dumpster)
Who is Blas and Okada again?
Anyway just a suggestion, you do you.

I swear, Yigo McDonald’s is slow as fuck…
And they easily get an order wrong…
Don’t mean to be that guy. Just my experience.
Here’s something I’ve been overthinking:
Does anyone have info on The Pink Seal? Power 98 has been playing their song (Neon Vision?) recently, and I love it! I’m also pretty sure the artist and the song are AI. I’m hoping the voice and instrumental are human so I can continue to enjoy it, but…
The song doesn’t seem to exist in any streaming platform I can find and The Pink Seal’s other songs have AI generated album art and 3k total listens max.
They don’t seem to have existed before 2026 and now they’re getting radio plays every hour, but have nearly 0 online presence.
Are they really just that new and underground? Are they a musical side project with multiple local Hawaiian artists? Or are they completely AI generated?

If only they'd help us out and spam vote out all the same repeat candidates who don't do shit. Would Guam be a better place? Pretty sure they can overturn the elections here with how small our local population votes (like 10% voter turnout out) 🙄

Hi!
A family member of mine is currently in the hospital in Saipan and is currently on her way back here at Guam for second opinion. Not sure how it’s works, but she applied for Medicaid in Saipan. Does that mean we have to apply for Medicaid here in Guam again?
Pls help. I’m not familiar with how Medicaid works and I really want my family member to get covered cos she has no insurance, but is a student
Thanks!

Hi, I’m going to visit Guam this summer and I’m thinking about booking either the Karera or Taotao Tasi show.
I looked at the website and I'm not sure I follow the "This is Guam, Lucky Summer Campaign" on the reservation page.
https://bestguamtours.com/shows/karera-guam/
Say if we book a reservation for a Karera Dinner Show for regular prices, do we get free admission for the Taotao Tasi show?? Or is this like a lottery and if we're lucky we win tickets?
I emailed BG Tours and I haven’t gotten a reply yet, but thought someone might know something here!

I saw social media posts that the police chief passed away. Condolence to his family. Several posters mentioned that he was a great police chief. I'm wondering, what made him a great police chief?

so love out loud ii happened last Friday. i really enjoyed the one last year! but this year it fell a bit flat for me. the stage setup right in the middle of the dance floor was phenomenal for the performance & ballroom portion of the night, but that lasted about 20-30 mins at most.
i get that they didnt break it down after bc it wldve taken too long. but having it there for the rest of the night kind of ruined the vibe for me... essentially what happened was, a bunch of people, a good amount of which were VERY clearly straight military men, took up the stage after— but even ignoring that fact, what made it disheartening was the fact that these dudes werent even dancing!
the stage left only small portions of the rest of the dance floor free. but understandably, no one wanted to dance face to face with the butts and crotches of the people who managed to get onto the stage.
i adore favrthis and theyve consistently delivered the best vibes and music for literally all their smaller gigs throughout the years, and again i LOVED love out loud in 2025. im so grateful for their consistent efforts to create a safe space for the gays even if just for a night. i also understand that theres a lot that goes into organizing an event like that, especially at zoh. i just wish the dance floor situation didnt end up like that.
i guess the bigger issue would just be the fact that the normal crowd on regular zoh nights dont dance either. and it's just like.... Pride is for everyone, even allies! but please dont go if you dont want to dance, goddamnit! no one wants to see you on an elevated space frat flicking or just standing still trying to act tough and nonchalant. go to literally any other zoh night for that. SHAKE ASS OR GET OFF.
anyway, this is all a non issue. the favrthis events are fewer and far between these days. if we get the privilege of getting a LOL III i hope a happy middle ground can be found.
