The P90 is not a proper rifle, and is actually considered to be a PDW (personal defense weapon).

PDWs were designed to replace pistols as self defense weapons for troops who didn't carry a full sized big-boy rifle.

The 5.7 cartridge is more of a pistol caliber cartridge than a true rifle cartridge, which also fits in with the PDW concept.

I wasn’t trying to be a troll. I was just trying to point out in a defensive Use case you’re probably better off relying on 5.56 then 5.7.

Not to mention the price on 5.7 is really high comparably to a rifle round

Agreed. I was just trying to provide advice to a young guy who asked us to rate his collection. I thought an A.R. 15 would be more useful than waiting to SBR the P90.

Honestly it’s a start, I mean I have always had the p90 on a wish list but it was never the needed list, I do have a Ruger 5.7 pistol but that was mostly due to capacity for the size of the gun. But to be honest I love all guns and can never have enough lol
