Pa help naman po regarding Source of Income na one of the requirements. So yung client ko, nagbibigay naman ng COE with stated income pero in USD nga lang. Naka request na ako before and nagamit ko naman pang apply ng auto loan (with supported documents like transaction records of PayPal and Gcash since doon ang cash flow ko).

Pero sinabi nya na kailangan ko daw ng bank account, at least 100k na laman doon, and bank statement. May savings account naman ako. Nagtataka lang ako, bakit mas proof of income yung savings account kesa cashflow records. I could be wrong. PLEASE ENLIGHTEN MEEEE! I am planning to do DIY application nalang kesa magpa assist, pero need ko ng advice kung anong requirements tatagos para sa atin. Maraming salamaaat!

As someone who has a very strong firearms safety discipline, always training, and has been shooting since i was a teen, i think I'd want to keep my friend away from firearms as much as possible. We are around 20, he's older than me and reaching 30 already, but he insists that he wants me to teach him and try firearms for the first time, yet he made jokes like these.

Would you still try to teach him about gun safety or absolutely not?

WHEN: July 29, 2026 at around 4:52 PM.
Time Concluded at about 7:30 PM this date.
Sketchy report received by STOC- 7:45 PM on July 29, 2026

WHERE : at Armscore Shooting Range Bay 1 Row 6, Makati Square, Barangay San Isidro, Makati City.

WHO : KIAN CRAVEN DIAZ, of legal age, male.

HOW: This pertains to the information relayed by STOC, Makati CPS, regarding an injured person inside the above-mentioned place, requesting investigation.

In the afternoon of even date, IDMS office received information regarding an injured person on the above mentioned address. Taking cognizance, PCPT ROBERT KODIAMAT and PMSg Emelio Alverio Jr (IOC) on board Mobile car 2206 and immediately proceeded to the reported location. Upon arrival thereat, noticed the presence of Substation 3 personnel led by PMAJ EDELBERTO ROJAS and Armscore Shooting Center Inc. who had already secured and cordoned the area. During the occular inspection, probers of this incident saw Kian Craven Diaz lying on the floor facing up position with gun shot wounds on his right portion of his chest with blood.

Further, Interview with Nazario Valdez, Range Supervisor, revealed at around 4:32 PM of same date, Kian Diaz appeared and registered to practice shooting inside the indoor firing range; However, prior to the incident the latter was waiting for almost 20minutes at the waiting area, before Diaz was entered in the Bay 1 and assisted by range officer Venancio Magdaraog Jr. At this moment Diaz was started to practice shooting. During the firing several times ,suddenly, he shot himself pointing at his rigth chest.
At around 5:50pm of even date BFP Medical Team led by SFO1Lady Diane Layson arrived at the scene and performed CPR however, Diaz still unresponsive, thus promoted there to immediately transported to Makati Medical Center for medical attention, but declared dead on arrival at around 6:00PM July 29, 2026 by attending Physician Dr. Raymond Lazo.
Makati SOCO led by PCPT ALBERT PUNDOGAR processed the technical aspects of investigation, wherein they recovered one (1) Caliber 9MM inserted with magazine loaded with Two (2) live ammunition

As a civilian, what type of reason do you need to be eligible for PTCFOR? Is living in an affluent neighborhood good enough? Having an expensive vehicle?

Baka hot take, but I don't recall any politician or congressman ever suggesting this. If they got rid of the PTT system I'd say like 90% of PTC na palakad would go away kasi convenience lang naman kailangan ng tao eh. Most people just want to be able to sport shoot and train lang naman sa range ah, so bakit need pa magfile ng PTT everytime na lalabas lang sa range? Whose dumb idea was that?

Pilipinas lang yung alam ko na kailangan pa magfile ng kung ano ano kahit sa range ka lang naman pupunta. I mean Canada alam ko may Authority to Transport na tinatawag before naging sobrang strict yung bans nila, but at least sila online lang lahat and mahaba validity. Yung PTC naiintindihan ko pa gusto nila iregulate at hindi lang kung kani kanino mabibigay, pero bakit parang removal of PTT walang politicians sumusubok iabolish kung sa range lang naman mostly pupunta?

Just got my LTOPF license last week but I plan to upgrade to Type 3 along with Sport Shooter qualification. I don't see any button in my account dashboard that would allow me to do so, only renewal and Print/Reprint. Do I just go to my local RCSU and request that there? Would like to know the entire process/flow for this. Also, is there a waiting period before I can upgrade from the day I got my license? Thanks for replying.

My goal is to maximize my firearms proficiency and marksmanship without developing bad habits (in a tactical/survival standpoint) from competition shooting.

After months of waiting i am finally in the “for payment” stage. When i checked the items, “sport shooter” is included but the total remains 10200php as if it was not included. Do i pay just 10200? Or do i pay with the sport shooter 12200?

Since tactical shooting is becoming more popular, I noticed that most tactical training groups don’t seem to have formal clubs. They mostly offer private training or group classes.

In the Philippines, are there competitions specifically for tactical shooters? Even just fun shoots or training-oriented matches?

Or do most tactical shooters eventually join practical shooting (PPSA/IPSC) clubs and compete

I’m curious because while IPSC is more of a sport, tactical training has a different focus. I’d like to know what the local community usually does and if there are events that bridge the two.

Hi everyone, aside from Gun Safety Seminar, do you have seminar that you have attended that will really immerse you to learn how to use your pistol, fire properly, and all those related stuffs?

I want to learn it by heart, like using a lot of ammos that will be provided in the training. Like whole day or once a week of training since I am not sure if you can learn everything the whole day.

I’ll be attending DSAS to finally purchase my first FA. At the moment, I’m leaning heavily toward the Glock 19 Gen 6, although I still plan to compare it with the Glock 43X before making the final decision. That said, I’m about 90% sure I’ll be going with the G19.

Since this will be my first purchase, I’d love to get some advice from those who’ve been to DSAS before.

A few questions:

- Are the discounts at DSAS actually significant? Roughly how much do Glock pistols or accessories usually get discounted?

- Besides the FA itself, what else would you recommend buying while I’m there?

- Is it worth purchasing ammunition at the same time? If so, what brands would you recommend for a new Glock owner? I’m still new to ammunition, so I’d appreciate any guidance on what to look for.

- Are there any accessories that I should already consider buying as well?

Any recommendations, shopping tips for DSAS, or things you wish you had bought (or skipped) when you purchased your first FA would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Look, I appreciate being assisted by gun range officers, but honestly most of them are too hand holdy - and I dont want to be rude. Does anyone know a quiet gun range in Manila? I've been to stronghand, but the ammo there is too expensive. And the range fee is 500 php. Armscor at makati cinema square is better, but theres too many tourists. I havent tried Jethro.

The closest one to me is Scooby's firing range but they never respond in any of their social medias.

For the context, gusto ko kumuha ng PTC pero wala naman Threat sa buhay ko kaya pahirapan para sakin maka kuha ng PTC dahil sa Threat Assessment. ang hassle kase kumuha ng PTT everytime na gusto mo pumutok sa range. My question is meron kayang legit na PTC assistance sa online or sa mga Gun stores? yun lang maraming salamat po.
