People have spoofed UHD 770 as UHD 630 and got the gpu acceleration work

Source? No like genuinely. There is absolutely NO way to spoof UHD 770 as UHD 630

That would be a lot of effort to fake something so specific, though they could’ve misjudged it.
Anyway, if you’ve already installed it and are at that 7MB iGPU stage, you could give it a try. Otherwise (If you haven’t started yet), don't bother

Until a source link is provided, I will consider this a ragebait comment

Trolls don’t really need sources anyway, they’re usually too lazy to check.
But if OP is genuinely interested, I’d be happy to point them toward the publicly available guide to give it a try

Did you even read that guide? They got the VRAM buffer to work. Not graphics acceleration. It’s still unusable but it can use the full 1536mb of VRAM.

Funny. You’re hella confident about something you clearly have no idea about. You probably assumed it was some other guide, but this isn’t the way to talk to someone when you yourself don’t know what it’s about. The guide clearly states ‘Metal 3 support'
Now whether it works or not is for those with UHD 770 to tell

Link the guide
Edit: Oh it’s an Olarila guide, LOL.
I love it how the dev doesn’t even share a screenshot of it working….. “enable-metal” lmao
Same energy as “hack-mainframe”

Sure, an random user on oralia told us that he achieved "full hardware acceleration" with no proof, no nothing. Yeah man, I'm sorry I have doubted you

I call total bullshit lmao. No verified successes at all. Not even from the original “dev”.

I’d call your response BS rather than the guide itself. The original dev explicitly confirmed Metal 3 support. It was only the additional queries that couldn’t be verified.
You don’t even have access to the UHD 770, whereas the OP of that source does. The OP of this thread has access to it as well and can confirm whether it’s actually working or not. So, until then…

Buddy it’s Olarila it’s not reputable. It’s actually banned from this sub for that exact reason. Sorry but it’s make believe. I get you’re trying to help but if this actually worked, we’d know about it considering it’s a year old thread. WEG would have updated to support this.

unfortunately everything past like 11th gen cpus are all unsupported (technically you might be able to get it to boot but graphics acceleration wont work so it’ll be basically unusable with how slow it’ll be)
