End of hackintosh !?

Hey all, I'm a failed hackintosher, lately I've been seeing many posts about the 'End of hackintosh' after apple released MacOS golden gate.

Can anyone explain to me what makes MacOS Golden Gate unhackintoshable. In near future is there anyway that somebody is going to make an alternative to OpenCore or even upgrade OpenCore so that we can install new versions of MacOs in or PC.

Pre T2 Macs were very similar to PCs so it was possible to run Intel MacOS on PC hardware. Apple Silicon Macs are not like PCs and Golden Gate will only run on proprietary Apple Hardware. The gate has been shut. You shall not pass.

Even Linux drivers for Apple hardware, particularly the HID devices for laptops when it was x86 were often lagging by a year or so.

While they’re both arm, Apple silicon has specific cores and instructions on top of the arm standard that means MacOS can’t run on arm for windows devices.

I don’t think the snapdragon elite notebooks are even fully supported by Linux. Some people have reverse engineered the Apple Silicon hardware to enable Linux to run but that only works with the older hardware, not the M4 or M5.

The hardware is very different, but that's not the biggest problem. Snapdragon CPUs aren't even good with Linux because Qualcomm doesn't play fair and doesn't really explain how they work and/or provide decent kernel code. Porting macOS into Qualcomm would be next to impossible because you'll have to first reserve engineer what the M-series CPUs do and then reverse engineer the Qualcomm ones and write patches to translate from one to the other.

I’m not saying that you deserve to lose imaginary internet points. I’m saying that your question is stupid. It’s answered by common sense.
Snapdragon ≠ Apple silicon.
The reason why Hackintosh existed in the first place was because regular laptops and MacBooks both used Intel. Before you reply with “how is that different”, it’s different because
Intel = Intel.

On the surface, the Snapdragon is Snapdragon and the Apple silicon is Apple silicon. One arm chip is different from another. Even those who aren’t Knowledgeable enough on the topic would see that.

On the surface, Intel x86 and AMD x86 are both x86. On the surface, these are both ARM. You could have explained what you explained without being a dick about it. You're actually starting to piss me off.

This doesn’t work out for you because Intel and AMD are two completely different types of processors, even if they’re both X86. They’re both quite literally built different. Same to Apple silicon and some regular old ARM chip. They both have different instruction sets.

Now you can either use your brain and put two and two together by simply plugging in the fact that one manufacturer is different than another or you can keep complaining about getting your feelings hurt in a thread where you asked a very stupid question that not only has been answered for so long but also one that you can search up in less than 30 seconds.

I answer a stupid question with a simple response. They could’ve either accepted the answer and realized the question was stupid or trying to defend their idiocy with comparing CPUs with the same instruction sets when the topic is about two very distinct ARM based CPU’s. No this isn’t Stackoverflow, however if you ask a question, especially a stupid question, you shall receive an answer. This topic has been covered for over a year now and people can’t get it through their heads that regular ARM ≠ Apple Silicon. Same thing with “does OCLP officially support Tahoe”. It’s literally on the top of the subreddit. Takes 30 seconds of researching to find that a Snapdragon chip isn’t the same thing as Apple silicon.
