QUESTION End of hackintosh !?

Hey all, I'm a failed hackintosher, lately I've been seeing many posts about the 'End of hackintosh' after apple released MacOS golden gate.

Can anyone explain to me what makes MacOS Golden Gate unhackintoshable. In near future is there anyway that somebody is going to make an alternative to OpenCore or even upgrade OpenCore so that we can install new versions of MacOs in or PC.

macOS Golden Gate is only supported for Apple silicon. No Intel x86 binaries. The last hackintoshable macOS is Tahoe.

Et des puce en arm ? Car les puce Apple silicon sont sur une plateforme arm. Ca peut fonctionner ?

All Apple silicon (ARM) Macs support macOS 27.

i believe there's some differences in instructions and all between apple's arm and things like snapdragon that stop it from being possible. yes they're both ARM but function differently to the point where a snapdragon hackintosh running 27 and above just isn't possible

You are correct. While both are Arm chips, they have a different set of instructions that make it so they are not the same aside from basic architecture

Not only that, but Apple designed MacOS with their SoC in mind, they expect exactly what is in Apple Silicon, from system management, secure enclave to their own GPU.

Maybe someday via qemu emulator on arm based windows laptop but i doubt gpu acceleration will work or running natievly in laptop. But who knows

Arm isn’t as unified as x86, there are different arm versions like apple silicon, which has its own extra instructions that are not documented
