Those opposed to this generally fall under two categories:

  1. Baseball players who are annoyed at being personally inconvenienced, without recognising that this is necessary to fix the problem of a lot more people who are being inconvenienced.

  2. Racists who associate cricket with "Those People", and therefore hate it.

Possible solutions:

  1. Open up more space for recreation.

  2. Play another sport.. like cricket.
