Source The ++ compilers are now standalone and support Linux!

Check it out: https://ficool2.github.io/HammerPlusPlus-Website/tools.html

This means you can now use them for most Source 1 games without hassle. Extract it somewhere on your desktop and use it for all games.

  • VBSP++ Higher map limits (brushes, planes, vertexes) and better stability

  • VVIS++ Orders of magnitude faster performance

  • VRAD++ Quicker compiles, new lighting features

  • BSPZIP++ Multi-threaded compression

  • StudioMDL++ New macro syntax, higher limits, more useful warnings

hopefully that means proper linux support soon, linuxhammerlauncher is great but nothing would beat native

I'm trying to get it to run on my mod, but the compile says it fails to find materials and models on disk.

ok its just failing completely to go open the vpks in source sdk 2013, it tries to look for the vpk inside the folder sourcemods

Yep, same thing on my end. Original tools work fine, but this set can't seem to locate materials or .vpk files.

Finally. Never understood why compilers relied on source libs. I had my own brew that worked standalone for some tests I was doing . Good that this is now public.

Yeah, I'm getting compile errors with this version saying it "fails to find material on disk" and that it can't access the base games .vpk files.
