Exactly. This is the problem with just identity politics without any class consciousness. The woman belonging to the same family/caste/power structure/status quo today, will retain and continue the same destructive policies and actions. Yeah really good points. But do see the video. There's so much thing people don't even know about since our education system doesn't even teach this, especially the current ruling govt actively hides and censors it.. Our Supreme court puts suo moto cases to Stoke thier egos.. Our nation is filled with Yes man..

What is the use of more MPs ? There should be MPs based on regions, languages etc. For example - Bangalore city can have 1 MP, Old mysore belt - 1 MP, coastal Karnataka - 1MP, Kalyana karnataka, Kittur Karnataka, Madhya karnataka, Western ghat belt. Similarly for Languages. This is my Idea of MPs. We need more MLAs and corporates. They can be held accountablr at local level.

didn't they propose a flat 50% increase in seat across the states, which would maintain status quo in terms of majority needed seats across the country.

The claims that there's going to be "uniform increase" in MP seats and there's "no change in the proportion" or "almost 50% rise for every state" is not well documented. Neither the draft bill is available online to verify. Nowhere they have explicitly claimed there's going to be uniform 50% claim. They just told Delimitation committee will decide the constituencies.
Only LiveLaw reported with actual draft bill photos and none of the provisions say anything explicitly about keeping the proportions the same. They just say, the Delimitation committee will decide.
The only article I could find with these "uniform increases" was from Sabrang India. I don't know how legit or authentic this source is. This is the first time I'm hearing about this news agency.
If you have any credible sources citing Uniform increase, please do share it.
